I'm talking about rap, where it has no melody. I don't know where it originated and I don't really care. I have no opposition to most genres, I actually like funk, but that's not the topic here.

From the POV of the OP

Step 1: Go to a music forum where I know people will speak passionately about music in general.

Step 2: Go to the rap and hip hop sub forum where people who enjoy rap and hip hop will speak passionately about the genre in general.

Step 3: Make a thread bashing the genre even though I know there will be people telling me that i'm full of crap.

Step 4: Make it seem like I know what i'm talking about, when actually I just felt like stirring **** up for the hell of it.

Did I get that right?

If it's origins are meaningless then why mention them?

Let's keep in mind that he said he doesn't mind funk, yet he hates rap. I'm rather confused by that statement, to be honest.

I'm not a troll, in the past I made some serious threads and all these real trolls didn't take me seriously.

I don't care, I have a life outside the internet, there are people who I am close with that are not of my family and I will talk about different musical topics and they don't spend time bashing me.

Funk and rap has a different groove. I really like the groove of funk. When it comes to rap, every summer, some driver will play rap really loud in his car, and the groove of the bass drum is annoying as hell.

Ja but funk isn't music so it's not fair to compare it to rap.

Maybe try not bashing musical genres that people here enjoy????????
