Hip Hop and Samples..

I guess this is a game or something. Please post a hiphop song and the sample(s) used in it. I always get excited when I hear something and think "O **** that in "insert song here".

So I was at work yesterday listening to Gnarls Barkley Pandora station and I hear this:

Moondog - Bird's Lament

and I immediately get a smile, because Mazzi used this kick ass melody in a song I found recently.

Mazi (SOUL Purpose) - Keep Movin

Here's the instrumental for anyone interested:

Mr Scruff - Get A Move On

Miles Davis's Pharoah's Dance off of the infamous Bitches Brew.

A.M. Breakups sampled a part of the intro on this Billy Woods track Sour Grapes.

Good stuff, Frown.
Nice JWB.. I didn't know either of those samples, and I agree about the RZA. Not a fan of his raps but his production is on point.

I hope some other people get involved this is great.

Ah this thread reminds me of a radio segment I had called "Dropping Science" and I would basically do the same thing. Play a song then follow it up with the samples that were used in the song.

I feel like that is the third song this past week that I have heard use turn the beat around.
