I find that hard to believe. That's pretty much just trying to accomplish something that has already been accomplished by bumping up popularity for artists who are already one of the most popular artists known. If it's really that insignificant, then why do it on facebook? If anything I think that reaffirms their popularity.

What the fans do is they post poll links or their pages on their favorite artist forums and fans will vote more than once.
