Also, you're the one who keeps saying it isn't true, so the burden of proof is on you. |

No... because there are bigger stars than him that I feel are underrated like Janet for instance but I just brought that up because I felt you were exaggerating his international popularity even in the states. |

That's definitely different from acknowledging the history of hip-hop. |

Okay fine...lets say he is popular (although I still do not think he is that popular) it still does not change the fact that he is underrated |

Nothing underrated about it. |

So him having 5 million likes on face book concludes that he is a household name? For all we know the same person could have liked him 10 times. I do not think that is a accurate way to measure whether or not he is popular. I never said he was obscure. I said he was underrated. |
Dizzee is a household name in the UK, end of.
Ice Cube is known more worldwide, & I didn't even say otherwise. Don't really care how many cunts on Facebook click 'like' on a page. I bet Tulisa is not a household name here cos she's only got 700k likes on FB. |

There are people who have facebook pages for their organizations, businesses, personal etc. I know some people who purposely make different accounts for the purpose of befriending their favorite singer so their favorite singer can have more likes, views, friends etc. There are polls that measure the likes and friends of celebrity facebook pages so its not that far fetch that this type of things happens. NOW of course I am not suggesting that ALL of Ice Cube likes or friends are the same person but just giving another perspective that should be taken into consideration when looking at celebrity facebook pages. Since this type of thing occurs, I do not think it is an accurate measure to base popularity on. |
