I need closure on that anecdote.

Besides Reasonable Doubt and some songs off the Dynasty, Nas does just about everything better.

I really like Jay-z's Live and Reasonable Doubt. As far as skill is concerned I think Nas owns him, but Jay-z makes up for it in the style department. I like them both for different reasons, as Shanda said.

I like Nas lyrical style over Jay Z. He seems to be more about personal/social issues where Jay Z seems to be all about braggin about what kind of rims hes got on his newest SUV.

Jay Z, i'd have to say. i actually rather enjoyed the black album, especially the one that starts off 'my tribute to the mother****ing greatest' and 99 problems.

nas is definately better. All jay-z got to talk about is how great he is and how far hes come. Who wants to hear someone brag about their accomplishments for fourteen tracks. Not me. Plus jay-z is never original. On every album he bites someone. That 99 problems was originally from trick daddy's Thugs are us cd, and lets not forget that me and my girlfriend from pac. He also takes plenty of BIG's lines. A lot of people say he just tryin to let BIG live on through his songs, but the truth is he just garbage, and people need to realize that he's just hype.
