Can't really get into him. never got the dudes calling him a lyrical genius. He's too bipolar for me, one day he's all vicious, next track he sounds like Drake's ghostwriting. His disses be forced as hell sometimes too, Lupe and Kendrick though? "But he can't skateboard!" O.G. Hop, O.G.

Had to search for a Hopsin thread since he's one of the few rappers I thoroughly enjoy.
Got to give him credit, he's the first rapper (that I know of) that could write a song about skating and completely murder it ("Nollie Tre Flip"). He's one of the realest I've seen (down to earth in every interview I've come across) and raps with his heart. Don't believe me? Just listen to "Ill Mind of Hopsin 7." I love this rapper.

Lupe Fiasco's Kick Push and Kick Push II.

Hopsin is like a half assed Eminem mixed with a half assed Lupe to me with the corniness of Nick Cannon. He actually looks like Nick Cannon with Twiztid eyes.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

i once saw a tweet that said "hopsin makes music for 20 somethings to listen to while biking to their job at burger king." pretty accurate.

He was like the rapper every generic ass basic stoner hip hop fan was talking about 5 years ago. Then his hype died down. You know the type of people, the ones that still listen to generic dubstep bull**** that sounded nothing like the aggressive angry robot noises I was introduced to. The type of people that call themselves gamers and only play Call Of Duty. The type of person people assume I am when I say I like Tech N9ne. They usually look like members of the Kottonmouth Kings. They are like the stereotypical frat boys except they never went to college.

They type of people that the newer Saints Row games seem to be modeled after.

Fixed that for you.

When you have a XXL Freshman Year this garbage. You know something has to be done about trap.

Denzel Curry is the only semi decent one out of the bunch.

Mumble rap is over hated. It's no more generic and boring than all the goofy white guys that chop in the underground. 9 times out of 10 their lyricism is just as subpar as a Travi$ Scott.

Who says those people like the goofy white rappers any better?

Edit: oh wait you're talking about Aesop.

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.
