Yeh, it's not his usual style but it's my favorite song by him.

If you like Aesop Rock, check out Sole.

The only other person I'd suggest off of Aesop Rock due to similarity would probably be Illogic. He's like Aesop Rock, but more straightforwardly emotional and more narrative.

I guess you could pull El-P, Cage, Cannibal Ox, and perhaps cLOUDDEAD or Themselves out of your pocket as recommendations for people who like Aesop Rock.

Ask me if you want album links, or anything.

Sole is an amazing emcee, his delivery is angry beyond reason. I think his style is more comparable to Immortal Technique though, he doesn't quite have that grizzly vocalization like Aes does.. and his lyrics are usually much darker too.

My favorite off Bottle Of Humans (besides In The Center- Yoni dominates that song)

Vocally, yeah, Sole and Aesop Rock are different. But lyrically, no one relates to Aesop Rock like Sole does. I don't see a relation between Immortal Technique and Sole at all... Maybe that they both sound angry, but they live in different worlds.

Oh, man, I just remembered the other rapper who I recommend to Aesop Rock fans.

They both live in this... World. That's the only way I can put it.
