what makes you think he'd even be a good live performer? he doesn't have much in the charisma department.

Well I've heard nothing but good things about his live show and his songs mean a lot to me, so it's just something I'd love to see live, y'know?

Plus he trippy, mane

Who goes to a show for "charisma"? You wanna see your favourite artist/songs performed in person.

Exactly. Would you (Manky) critique someone who wanted to see Rakim live, just because he isn't the most charismatic MC?

Sometimes I would say just seeing them perform the songs isn't enough. Sometimes they don't transfer well, sometimes it's just boring. There are a good few artists I imagine I wouldn't exactly want to see live because it might suck.

Well yeah, some artists flat out don't HAVE the skill required to play their stuff live.

Aesop Rock does, I got to see him back in October and it was awesome. I assume he's been doing this along enough to know his strengths when putting on live show. Not to mention he, and Rob Sonic, were extremely nice in person. It's always refreshing when an artist can blow your mind with a great performance and not blink an eye when approached by fans after a show. Just another added bonus to seeing your favorite musicians live in a smaller/more personal venue.

What song was your favorite during the live performance?

Listening to that The Uncluded album now. Pretty great.
