I don't want to be that technical *******, but wasn't it released almost exactly a month ago? I just got to checking it out and it definitely took me out of my comfort zone, but it has been growing on me. I don't think it's as good as Skelethon or anything but it is growing on me

I skip some tracks here and there but I do really like it.

Yeah man, I really love how Aesop is willing to try new things as well.

anti is trying to suggest a broad generalization, which is actually pretty accurate according to me.

of course we can all cite specific artists to the contrary, but if we are speaking on the genre as a whole he's not too far off.

I still like it all the same i just feel like its been super dry lately. Hopefully this next couple months will see some type of solid release cuz man come on now

Dunno man about that man, if we're talking this year then apart from Flowers for My Father and King Remembered In Time there hasn't been much (haven't got round to Acid Rap) but 2012 may have been one of the best years for hip-hip, so many great albums released last year in the genre;
Cancer for Cure, R.A.P Music, Good Kid Mad City, Control System, The Money Store, No Love Deep Web, Skelethon, ANX, etc.

I know it's a mashup but that GG DOOM album was really great. Brotha Lynch Hung, Czarface, Ill Bill and even ASAP Rocky put out solid albums. And I haven't got round to loads of others.

Ill Bill's album sucked balls. I'm not really an A$ap Rocky fan either. He doesn't do much for me.
I didn't know DOOM had another project out, will check out that and the other two albums I haven't heard yet.

Ghostface's record was stale as old bread. Low budget production, talking about murdering people and referring to himself as a superhero alter ego would've flown ten years ago but the fact an album like this was released shows just how out of touch Ghostface is.
Album lacked any depth or innovation and felt dated on first listen.
