Yeah, I only remember him being featured on misc. tracks but looking up at his wiki just a few seconds ago. It looks like he was putting out mixtapes over the years. It seems to be like a two year span between mixtapes though.

Also I was at an okay spot but the zoom on my S2 is really good. I hated when my phone died and I had to resort to using my tablet to take photos.

That's a ten year span where he wasn't making many waves.
Just thought about what could have been achieved in that time frame.
He was doing guest spots with a bunch big mainstream names and making some of his own albums, sort of blowing up in the south. Of course he never really got internet famous until he hooked up with El-P. His PL3DGE album is really good (granted it was released in 2011) and the should've-been-hit from that album (Ready Set Go) has some extremely hot production.

Killer Mike's been one of my favorite MC's since "Snappin' & Trappin'".

Okay, huge props to this forum for being into El-P and Killer Mike. I actually like each of those artists individually more than I like Run the Jewels, but it's all fantastic music. These two guys are my go to references for idiots who tell me that all rap sucks now. They don't even begin to get enough credit.

Can anyone else hear a little bit of southern drawl in El-Ps verses? These guys are influencing each other to the core I think. Can't wait for RTJ2
