Ohmg! I got that same pornstreet one, what a douche that guy was. Yeah I believe i saw it on vinyl in this Chicago shop, but if you have a turntable, you may be able to find it on ebay or amazon, or a record shop's website. The place i was at was called Reckless Records, if they don't have their catalog online, then you may be able to email em for it if they still have it.
But the Smile Sessions is super ill, the abandoned planned successor to Pet Sounds, a response to the Beatles' Revolver, and in direct competition with Sgt. Peppers. It was meant to be recorded in the same manner as "Good Vibrations" in that Brian Wilson recorded apparently unrelated sessions and spliced them together in a coherent fashion, and the album itself is one large suite, all the songs, in one way or another, being varying themes of the album's overture and (though not entirely certain) magnum opus "Heroes and Villains." It is also supposed to be a concept album/love letter to the US, primarily focusing on American styles of music like Ragtime, Jazz, and Gershwin's classical style, as well as being rooted in American Pop history. I could go on and on about it, but Wikipedia does a good enough job for me. To keep it Hip Hop related, it's abandoned nature could be compared to the incredibly wanted DOOM/Radiohead album that everyone wanted after Retarded Fren. I guess.

My critique is that it was far too ill. Though i did like the energy of Retarded Fren more, this ambient-oriented beat really complimented his unrelenting flow.

I really want to know what you all think of Public Enemy's fifth album "Muse-Sick-N-Hour-Message", since we were on the topic of PE. I think it's mad underrated, better than Apocalypse 91 in fact. Check this song out if you've never heard it before.
