Default the regression of main stream rap/hip hop...

i'm an old schooler. my first rap/hip hop tape was LL Cool J-Radio... i grew up on stuff like NWA, Geto Boys, Master P, Dj Quik...

the state of the genre today, as far as mainstream is concerned, really bugs me... every song is about the same **** over a different beat or it's about som gimick dance or Lil' Waye having every kid in America thinking they're a Blood now...

it just really bothers me... especially when there are underground artists like Jelly Roll, Young Worm, Haystak, Brabo Gator...

i mean really, what has the hip hop/rap world come to???

Yes, P's early stuff anyway. Stuff like Ice Cream Man, Bout It, Bourbons N's Lacs...

Make 'Em Say Uhh isn't exactly representative of his better work.
