Whats going on guys!

So I have always been a fan of hip hop, but i have never been terribly impressed by beat albums. I mean Donuts was legendary obviously, and so was special herbs and the like, but i ALWAYS prefer MC's or singers on beat. With that said i cam across this project on djbooth called the rudimentals by this producer named Lightfoot. I guess the post may have been specifically about this video he did for one of the tracks (turns out to be my least favorite tracks but still pretty good!), but I ended up checking the rest of the stuff out and it was such a pleasant surprise. Super spacey beats with cools drums and clean sounds. It also seems like dude is a little more invovled with his production. It just doesn't seem ilke he's looping samples. So yeah I don't know if you are like me and can't really get down with instros but this was very dope!

I am Boston bred so maybe its just me wanting to help represent this dude (turns out he also reps the bean!) haha but i def enjoyed it and if you were able to get down with dj shadows Entroducing and MF dooms special herbs i think you will also dig it. So there you have it my first offering to you all!
