Default My Guide to Rap albums to Blow your Mind

I've seen a lot of these threads where people post lists of interesting albums and after looking through the rap section of Music Banter I feel that it could use a new injection of life here instead of talking about the same old boring Kanye Wests and Lil Waynes. I don't have any personal links to these albums that you couldn't find online. Sorry.

I'll try to post 10 albums that will hopefully blow your mind and that you haven't heard of and that you will enjoy...

10. Troubled Mind- Dre D (1997)

The extremely rare and difficult album to find, Troubled Mind, features several songs which can either destroy your speakers, or make you want to eat human flesh (probably not this one, but since fools are running around in the streets eating people's faces I thought it was a good reference). This is the most highly bootlegged and fakely (sp?) copied CD on the streets with such slight differences in the cover art and barcodes that only "experts" can identify real from fake.

Here is a great article about the differences (not written by me):
Young Dre-D Troubled Mind Original vs. Bootleg | Rap Music Guide

Dre D is so underground that Wikipedia doesn't even have a bio on him, so if you're looking for more on this guy it takes a lot of effort but Troubled Mind is the end all, be all of underground Cali rap. I once heard a story about the album, not sure how much validity there is to it, but someone in Sacramento wanted the album so much they killed a guy with a copy and ended up getting life in prison.

Here are some stand out tracks from the album:
Meat Rack

Midnight Kreeper- Beware of Da Kreep

Battlefield Featuring J Mack

More albums to come...
