is Hip-Hop dead??
Hip-Hop isn't a kind of music, it's a culture. I think rap now doesn't have hip-hop in it. There is definitely rap, but not the culture of Hip-Hop. Old School Hip Hop had a rapper(s) and a dj. Now it's one rapper with a different producer on every track. It seems to me that rap now is all about money and not about the people Hip-Hop was supposed to represent, inner city youth. Now it's all about b***hes and money.
Is Hip-Hop dead? not rap

lol
every goddamn underground hip hop vid "this is REAL hip hop.. not that Drake shit" "better than Lil Wayne" "can't believe this doesn't have more views and Soulja Boy gets millions of viewers... smh" fucking dorks.. most of the people who say that kind of thing in comments also take a bunch of pride in feeling like they know something others don't and they actually wouldn't want their favorite artists popularized.. because then they're sellouts or they just go on and on about how all these new fans are fake because they knew about it first.. |

I was laughing at the notion that 'Alternative rock' was ever underground.
