Sparky was pointing out how broad and vague a discussion east vs west would be, and how it would make for a useless debate because of this.

I just gave an example of an even more broad and vague discussion on this site, which still seemed to generate plenty of interest.

What in the world happened to this thread? And why hasn't it been locked yet?

They don't want an east coast vs west coast thread, yet the irony is that this thread still exists.

I even tried to break up tension to make an actual east coast vs west coast thread, though it didn't go too well.

But damn.
