Ah yes, Spooky. I'm very much aware of Songs of a Dead Dreamer, it's a great album, but the whole Illbient thing doesn't really fit, does it? For a start, it's nowhere near as abrasive or dissonant as some of the Industrial Hip Hop bands discussed. I agree with one thing, though - it was definitely important to the development of Alternative Hip Hop, I just don't see a connection between B L A C K I E and DJ Spooky.

Dope.
Some strange comparisons in this thread. Stuff like Antipop Consortium is a different animal IMO. Sure this isn't "ground-breaking" and you can find comparisons to stuff like Dalek, Divine Styler, etc., but who cares? If you're looking for something 100% unique and revolutionary in music in this day and age, you won't find anything. |

Super strange. But that is the way of the human. Box it up.
All Original Def. If you wanna dig back to the beginning blame us for copying tribesmen. Blame us for breathing like everyone else. We need air. I am more dangerous then you think. Humans. Death. To you, and if you have children, let me borrow their head. Thanks for the support. K. |
