Ninetales got it right though. Maybe not on the first 4-5 tracks per se, because "Runaway" is probably the best song, and I dig that last track, but yeah, a few joints are way overlong and unnecessary (you know it's bad when I think Pusha's on a bad song ("So Appalled"), and I can't stand "Hell of a Life", and then "Blame Game" is just dumb). On these facts alone I could never consider this album a classic. I also don't really see the influence it wields, I mean it's mostly soul samples and a pseudo storyline, overall it's a pretty standard Kanye album.

Yeah El-P is master class, Metro Boomin has turned out to be one of my favorite newer mainstream producers though, along Mike Will and others.
