Kanye's done more for hip hop than any rapper Of the 21st century. Being an executive producer, rapper, lyricists for six records. Five of which went straight to number one. Has earned tons of Grammys. He's prolific, man!

But I guess Michael Jackson was too, and I'll never understand the propensity of that strange man.

The reason Kanye's so great is that he influenced music that is far superior to his own and the mo****ers famous? **** so does that make Michael Bay the second coming of Welles or Kubrick?

Also: prolific .

Basically he can make a beat and rap good.
I would respect that if a million other rappers couldn't do the same sh*t.

To me he excels as producer, is sub par as a rapper and is not an impressive lyricist.

let's all just agree to disagree. You say hate, I say great. Who can honestly make a record as substantial as MBDTF? No lame ass rapper working now.

Armand Hammer - Race Music
El-P - Cancer 4 Cure
Hail Mary Mallon - Bestiary
Ka - The Night's Gambit
Cult Favorite - For Madmen Only
I'm not the biggest fan but I would even say Good Kid m.a.a.d. City too.
Etc.

Those albums wouldn't exist without the blueprint of MBDTF, or College Dropout or Late Registration. Hell, maybe even Graduation.
