If your point is that the people who are actually talented aren't making enough money, then that problem predates autotune by a long stretch. But I've never known those artists to be regarded as having a lot of talent. Not by music fans in the know, at least. They make easily digestable party, summer music. And before autotune, you had artists like Mariah Carey who were extremely vocally talented, yet made extremely bland music. To me there's no difference there. Whether the vocal talent is there or not, it isn't interesting and I won't listen to it. |

I'm surprised Kanye's performance at the Brits hasn't been posted. Did anyone see it?
He performed 'All Day' and had the Grime scene as his backing dancers. I thought the tune was just OK. Taylor Swift seemed to like it. I expect his album to be announced within a month or so. |
