Downloaded Kanye's discography. Gonna give them all a listen but I've already heard The College Dropout cos I bought it when it came out. Thought it was pretty good at the time, not a classic but not shite either.

Listening to MBDTF atm, pretty boring. Nicki Minaj's verse on Monster is quite good tbh

Hope I'm not pissing you lot off by listening to old albums then bumping threads.

EDIT - Should say I've heard a lot of his stuff just never bothered with the albums all the way through.

go on and bump old threads. it's no big deal as long as you aren't bumping it to offload kitchen supplies then I'll have to plant my foot squarely up your ass verbally.

I have dilemma. Although I appreciate what 808s and Heartbreaks was trying to do, I just can't listen to it because it makes me cringe hearing a bad singer trying to sing and drowning his voice out in auto tune. However, I like noise rock where guys who can barely sing distort their vocals like the band Wavves or Unsane. Am I being hypocritical?

Nope, different types of vocals work in some situations but not others. In the case of Unsane, I think the vocals are one of the things that make the music so good.

Also, welcome. Nice to have another Unsane fan around this place.

Okay so I know this is probably exaggerated but I am emotionally affected by how non-Yeezy like Kanye sounds in the interview with Kris. What happened to his accent?

He didn't always speak that way.

The Kardashian interview?

He's just acting soft in front of his girlfriend's mom. It was painful to watch. Probably even been somewhat forced to do it and told how to come across.

He looked like he'd been drugged! He doesn't usually smile like that and seem so vulnerable!

It completely warped my view of him! While on one side, I'm glad to see he has a heart, on the other side, I'm pretty confused as to why he was speaking SO differently.
