Kanye has created some of the best beats in history without a team behind him. And even more of them with a team.

My opinions on his music
1. I don't generally like his music. 2. I do acknowledge his impact on hip hop and pop music. 3. He's a twat. Those three points, to me, make him a person who I'm generally confused as to why he's so popular. I just don't get it. |

I know he's a lot more involved than that, DJ, but yeah. It's him putting his ideas out, he just uses other talents to help. I've read up on some of the methods he's had going into producing his albums.
I think he's good and talented. If he wasn't talented then anybody could do what he's doing. And they can't. I mean, if he wasn't good or talented he wouldn't have gotten to where he's at. It's not controversy that put him there because controversy doesn't sell records. The celebrities that rely on controversy are forgotten when the controversy is gone. Kanye is never forgotten ever. Even with controversy gone. He's always known as one of the greatest to ever do it. |
Goofle's opinion is the only one that gives me pause. There are so many treasures in his year by year lists that I've really come to respect his opinion.

Good to see you'll admit when you're obviously wrong.
