If I had the time I'd hunt down and bring up his recent lyrics. But in short, I've listened to every album he has and have no problem supporting his recent albums. I don't even think they suck, I just agree that they're not as good as his older works. I think his lyricism is still on point. I also think Del is still better to this day than 90% of other rappers out. To each their own. Some people are dismayed that he can't continue to be perfect, just above average. But I wouldn't rank his lyricism or flow "average" or "poor" and am confident Deltron II will be highly enjoyable. When I said I would enjoy it no matter what, that's because I'm confident that it will be above average, even if not perfect like Deltron I. It's hard to beat one of the best hip hop albums of all time.
