Agree about Public Enemy, but Wu are more grimey by nature. Also, I just skip the boring songs on 36 Chambers.

Totally off topic:
tomclancy, is the Joker blowing up in england? Just curious, I heard one track by him and i like him, and i see he has his own clique a la wolf pups and asaps.

Could do without the sappy vocal hook, but this kid reminds me a lot of dizzee rascal.

Sorry, i just saw u live in england and was always curious about this guys and didnt wanna make a whole thread

He actually reminds me more of Kano than Dizzee but, yeah, this track is great! Though I agree that the chorus is kind of meh.

I only have a couple of his songs on a grime comp but those are pretty good.

Never really got into Grime to be honest, and have very little knowledge of what people who do follow the likes of Kano and Dizzie (pre-Pop).

The actual B L A C K I E just sent me a link to download his Spred Luv LP on Twitter. Here's the begged for link.

This album goes back to 2009 and I really loved listening to the songs on youtube. Hopefully the quality is as good.

He's alright. On first listen the abrasive, hardcore noise production is great. It doesn't really hold up on repeated listens for me, though. There's a hollowness to it all - go beyond the edgy, experimental veneer and there really isn't much there.
