i really despise the "black zach de la roca" line

the new pusha t record is good, very good beats. if your in the mood for something commercial but far from pop i'd say listen to this
|
yeah, but too many guest spots man. For somewhere who waited forever and a day to drop his full length I thought he would personally contribute more towards it.
That being said it still is pretty good. As you pointed out, the beats are the best aspect. Very gritty and minimalist, nothing over produced and no dumb attempts at crossovers with electro or dubstep like many other rappers are guilty of. My complaint though is that with the high volume of guest spots, why couldn't the quality have been improved? Kendrick's verse on Nosetalgia is very good and I actually quite enjoyed Ricky Ross's contribution but other than that the guest verses were unremarkable to say the least. Guys like Big Sean & 2Chainz have no business in rap never mind on every second album that's dropped. |
i thought big seans verse was ok, he pokes fun at chance the rapper pretty good
im feeling like a grown ass little boy nah nah nah nah |

I'd take 2Chainz over Drake any day though.
I made it through about half the album though, not because I didn't like it but because when I was listening i ran out of time, I liked it though, I've heard it falls off after the first half though. |
I found it to be a good album. A solid output. It doesn't feel like it falls off at all imo. Especially one of the tracks near the end Pain. I love that track so much. I also like the play on words with S.N.I.T.C.H.

That effing "Who I Am" song and "Let Me Love You" ruin the album's flow for me. It's a solid 3.5/5.
