I would also like to nominate Immortal Technique's new album The Martyr (2011) as well as Kendrick Lamar's debut Section .80 (2011)

I was wondering, do you guys think we should keep all the old nominations that aren't chosen from poll to poll, or would you prefer to scrap it all and start over fresh each time we vote? I'm sorta leaning towards keeping them all around, but it may become an issue if we have too many albums to choose from. Thoughts?

Shouldn't end up being an issue, I think this is just the excitement of starting. By the second round, nominations won't be too prominent.

@Thom Yorke We did Fantastic Damage this year in our last hip-hop album club. There's a thread that's still open and desperately needing extra opinions. I wouldn't be opposed to doing it again, but we did do it once already is all. It was my pick. Unfortunately the response was sparse....

Ah, ok. I'll Sleep When You're dead is a good one to look at too but I've nominated enough already.

Definitively love to discuss this too. THERE ARE NO ATHIESTS IN THE FOXHOLES, THERE IS NO INTELLECT IN THE AIR and other hooks can be analyzed lotsa ways

I thought we were going for new releases. I'll not change my choices though, all great in my view. Seriously though, if you haven't listened to "Armor of God" by Vakill, go do it now.
