I love the stuff he does with CunninLynguists but after I downloaded and listened to Archetype I couldn't believe that on his own he really isn't that good. Yes he can spit it at an incredible pace, but he doesn't have that same... uniqueness to him as say Busdriver.

There's plenty more to Tonedeff than the ability to double or triple time.

Like boring rap.

I'm just kidding dude. I didn't stress hard enough that it was just my opinion, and I don't think he's bad in any way, just not my steeze. My opinions were coming off too definitively and that's my fault. I said I don't like all that nerd rap, which is also kind of a lie cause I know I listen to plenty of it. But talking about atom splitting and calculus or whatever it was he was talking about isn't for me.

if your gonna have a list of the top 10 greatest rappers and not include tupac then you should get kicked off this site because obviously you dont know anything about music.

Tupac is overrated. Not having him in the top of all time is completely justified. However, the person you were referring to did have biggie, nas and dre all of whom are just as overrated or possibly even more so.

I can think of better rappers than the ten that guy mentioned but maybe that was his 10 favourite rather than the 10 greatest?

Nah man, it's music. You don't need to explain "it's my opinion!" when you discuss it. Have fun with it and defend your opinion like it's a fact but still be open minded; that's where the fun and learning comes from!
