word, that track with Mos Def is my favorite song right now... the one with De La's not far behind, and that beat for "On the Mic" just energizes me

That beat on the Mos Def track sounds similar to a beat my old roommate was working on. He wanted a dope track with a flute sound on it. I think his desire to do that came from listening to Wu Tang a bit too much.
