Madlib Yes! I'd agree there just for Madvillain (sine he's what really made it great). Premiere is someone i still need to check out. Who did he produce with?

His beats are very top notch and stand out. He did alot of work with M.O.P. as well. here is the list of his work you can go through DJ Premier discography - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia They did leave out alot his mixtapes though or maybe I just missed them while scrolling through.

As for Dre, his work has been great on his Chronic albums, and even on niche projects such as Truth Hurts and his work with Eve, but his body of work just doesn't compare to DJ Premier, or even Rza as someone already mentioned. But you can't take away from Dre that he was a large part of why west coast hip hop dominated the early 90s until Rza helped change that with the Wu Tang Clan phenomenon. I find the Dr Dre headphones overrated personally, a friend has some and I find my Sennheisers much more comfortable and similarly strong regarding sound quality. And they are only £50, rather than £180.

Supergroups don't always work out. I mean look at the Fantastic 4. So corny.
