E.P.M.D is definitely somewhat responsible for the giant jump hip hop took from the old school days to the "middle ages," so to speak.

No one was sampling as heavily as them back in their day. Especially not classic rock and funk hits. Very easy stuff to bump to.

I haven't heard their new stuff since they got back together but I gotta say that Strictly Business is their maddest album for me.

Apparently In Housin' was covered by Rage Against the Machine but I haven't got the nerve to check it out. Something's are better left untouched and I think that track is plainly too hot to touch.

The production on You Gots too Chill is of the hook.

Gonna do everything in my power to get down to Central Park on August 27th to seem them with Rakim and Funkmaster Flex.

EPMD also stands for Erick and Parrish Millennium Ducats

they are one of the most influential hip hop groups ever..i think they gave Redman his big break as well
