I disagree. It may be a different sort of depressing, but the lonesome piano and narratives of the original CREAM give the song its own aura of sadness, imo. Plus, while I liked the CREAM remix, i didn't like that they had to slow the Wu Tang verses down for the flow to match up to the new beat.

I definately prefer Sleep to CREAM, which is my second least favorite on 36 Chambers.

Wow. There are quite a few throw away songs on 36 Chambers. It can't be second least favourite surely?

It is, dude. I justm really don't dig that beat, at least compared to how much I like the rest of the songs.

36 Chambers isn't my favorite honestly. I think RZA got even better as he went. The rapping itself is great, but the beats aren't always a match in greatness.

It was a standard of the 90's, at least the content was.

My general feeling with these mash-up albums is that they're interesting at first listen, but have little replay value.
However they're good for re-gauging interest in the original material.

Jester, Night Ripper was dope. I can't even remember one specific track because it all flew together so smoothly. I usually don't like remixes (or samples for that matter) with such popular songs (I could pick out pretty much every song used), but I didn't mind it here at all. I still don't consider it in the same vein as I would original music, but it was a really fun listen for sure.
