These come out about once every month.

Jester 06-23-2011 03:04 PM

right when i read the title, i thought it'd be an attempt at compiling classic/important rap battles

dang, how disappointing :(

How about this?

Who are two historical figures you'd like to see face off in a rap battle, and who would win?

same but I'm not disappointed.

I was going to make a thread similar to that, so I'll probably end up hi-jacking this thread and using it for that but I will do it later on though.

Instead of compiling it in a list though I think people should just list off some of the feuds that they want to yourself included.

Antonio 06-23-2011 03:38 PM

for something like this which, i really enjoy the production and some of the peoples' rhymes aren't too bad

my personal fave, when Hawking comes on it's a wrap

Janszoon 06-23-2011 03:52 PM

Hahaha... these are great!

Here's another pretty good one:

well, yeah. everyone post whatever, classic feuds/battles, but i said compiling it into a list, because, like... that's basically all threads are in their entirety. a compilation of different things related to the one topic, know what i mean?

but yeah, i could have worded it better. i just have to defend my diction :P

i'll be posting in that thread when i see it

Hitler vs Vader is a personal favorite. My buddies kid had that on repeat for days and it never stops bringing the laughs.

The Easter Bunny was hella smooth with that beat. I think he actually beat Khan.

Have you seen the new one? I think it's my new favorite:

djchameleon 06-30-2011 05:38 AM

These are some of greatest lyrics ever:

Hi, it's Billy Mays here
with a special TV offer.
Watch me crush this
bald, fat, foppish founding father.

Janszoon 10-11-2011 08:31 PM

I kind of forgot about this and then just checked back with this dude's YouTube channel. He has several more videos up. My two favorites:

Mr. T vs. Mr. Rogers

William Shakespeare vs. Dr. Suess

someonecompletelyrandom 10-11-2011 10:17 PM

Shakespeare goes CRAZY on his last verse. I wasn't impressed at all with Thing 1 and 2 however.

Thom Yorke 10-11-2011 10:23 PM

^ Yeah, that kind of ruined it.

Janszoon 10-11-2011 10:31 PM

I agree. Shakespeare definitely won the second round, though I think Cat in the Hat won the first round.

someonecompletelyrandom 10-12-2011 09:47 PM

"I'll chop you into four black dudes and remake Cool Runnings" and "Get the F*CK out of my neighborhood" have got to be the best lines to come out of this.

Agreed.

Surell 10-14-2011 03:51 PM

I wanna see Andrew Jackson go ham on someone.

qlan11 10-17-2011 09:35 PM

these are some of my favorite youtube videos

qlan11 10-17-2011 09:36 PM

my personal favorite is Mr T vs Mr Rogers

Surell 10-18-2011 02:27 PM

Engine 10-18-2012 12:59 PM

Thom Yorke 10-18-2012 04:56 PM

^That guy does a hell of an Obama; I remember him from that Osama press conference video. The Romney part was brutal though.

LoathsomePete 10-18-2012 06:38 PM

Good ol' Abe coming in to save the day.

Another Presidential one I'd like to see if Teddy Roosevelt vs. Andrew Jackson but I'm pretty sure the Universe would explode.

gunnels 10-18-2012 07:15 PM

My Presidential fight of choice would be Ronald Reagan vs. FDR. Would be epic.
I gotta say, Shakespeare's second bout was the best, but Mr. Rogers takes the cake for me overall.

Surell 10-18-2012 10:51 PM

Both the above need to have happened already, the universe can suck a dick for that for sho.

Engine 10-18-2012 11:12 PM

Why the obsession with US Presidential politics, y'all?
This one speaks to me more than any presidential debate:

Surell 10-18-2012 11:40 PM

I want Cleopatra vs. Frank Ocean, or that pimp who killed her or whatever, pimpin in his cornrolls like who the hell he is.

someonecompletelyrandom 10-18-2012 11:43 PM

I generally prefer these battles to be as irrelevant as possible (like Ghangis Khan vs. the Easter Bunny) but the Obama/Romney battle was just brilliant. Abe kicked ass.

One of the best they've ever done. These two ladies flow better than the usual guys do half the time.

Gucci Little Piggy 10-19-2012 12:24 AM

Yeah, they have a great flow, really surprising. Another fav o'mine:

I dunno, I just really love this one. They outdid themselves on this one IMO.

Engine 10-19-2012 12:29 AM

ahahaha. Possibly the best line they've written:

Steve Jobs to Bill Gates: "Why'd you name your company after your dick?"

I strongly approve of this thread. Other than the Leonidas/MC one which I hated they've really outdone themselves this season. I'm still holding out for that Mythbusters vs Ghostbusters battle.

Huh... I never thought anything would be Shakespeare vs. Dr. Suess but this somehow managed to do it. Linux FTW!
