In 2020 is it not reasonable to expect a white person to go on stage with a Black artist and not say ***** in front of a crowd lol?
Reductionists gonna reduce.

Then why bring her on stage to sing the ****ing song?
The first hip hop shows I went to were like 5% white people. KL actively targets suburban whites. No crime in that but don’t stop fronting like you give a **** about being black. And make another good song besides ADHD.

Why not?
You strike me as more butthurt and scared than Rick here.

It requires a bare minimum of nuance to realise that you can want to invite someone to sing a song while expecting them to leave out slurs

I never went to a concert wanting to hear the radio edit. And never have.

It's better when artists play exactly like on the record without doing anything to complement their performance environment.

Duh that's why I said they have to perform identically to the record and not the radio edit stupid

it also requires a bare minimum of nuance to understand that there's a difference between just editing out the word ****** as a white person and a radio edit

How much nuance does it take to understand you shouldn’t invite a person on stage to rap your song if you don’t want them to rap your song?

I’d rather be at concert that is actually fun not a Tipper Gore parental advisory equivalent.

Exactly. They shouldn't interact with the audience at all, just shut up and dance like they do on the record.

White people using racial slurs = fun?
I mean I guess it's a good thing you'll probably never see another concert again, so you don't even need to worry about it!

I don't wanna hear some white girl fan rapping at all. N word or not. Was he just trying to **** or do people actually find **** like that entertaining? Honestly the only entertaining part was him scolding her for using the N word. Almost as awkward and funny as the kanye/Taylor swift incident.

Although the grand prize has to go to Akon for this beautiful performance.

I’m good with this take (but not even close to that Kanye thing or when he said George Bush hates black people while standing next to Shrek or when he gave that wild speech sitting next to Trump in the Oval Officer) although that Travis Scott clip looked genuine and fun.

I’ve seen that before. That’s good entertainment, too. I saw Gibby Haynes push a kid off the stage and the kid got his foot twisted up and couldn’t walk off at a show I was at. I vaguely remember a few more hip hop youtube clips where the rapper attacks a fan for whatever reason. They’re all fun to watch.
I just hate KL’s goodie goodie bull****. He started off with so much promise, too.

Michael Myers reaction to the kanye Bush comments war hilarious. You'd think as a comedian he'd be able to roll with it better but it completely caught him off guard and was awkward af.

He's going to headline a night at Governor's ball. I wish I hot tickets but I'm passing on Governor's ball this year. I'll see him live sometime in the future.

It definitely hit a chord with a lot of people last year, it definitely stayed in my car for quite awhile. "Keisha's Song" is one of the finest examples of modern story telling I've found in hip hop recently, and I'm glad that he's at least getting some mainstream attention. Apparently he has a new album in the works for this year called Good Kid in a Mad City.
