if this is an indication as to what the new albums going to be like then I don't think we're getting another Section 8.0 but more rather another Tha Carter

I'll reserve proper judgement until I hear the album in it's entirety, but I definitely believe he hammered out for more mainstream appeal, but I knew that the moment he was signed to Aftermath.

Yeah, there's no doubt about that. As far as rap goes, though, sometimes I like more mainstream sounding tunes. Especially since he's pretty good at it.

Referring back to A.D.H.D....

When he goes F*** that, it's made to sound more like F thought, which when you have ADHD happens. You can't keep track of your thoughts, what you were doing, going etc. It plays into the song. ADHD also directly relates to Section 80 and the whole "80's babies" theme it has including Reagan, drugs etc.

His new stuff is more main stream, but none the less I paid my $100 for two tickets to see him this fall and will pick up his album first day it comes out. Even on Swimming pools there are underlying lyrics that mean more than what they appear at face value.

Listening now. The first track is a little naff (based on beat alone). His lyrics seem pretty solid.

Was just listening to his Wanna Be Heard track, I love that Black Milk sample to pieces.

Just starting GKMC and it is VERY promising. This might be the album I've been waiting for.
