^ I didn't like the version I heard, maybe it was a crappy remix though.

Phantom Limb 03-20-2012 10:48 AM

Idk maybe, the version I have sounds exactly the same, it just has an extra Busta Rhymes verse.

Goofle 03-20-2012 12:06 PM

I mean the added Busta verse was not mixed in well on the version I heard. You seen them perform it live? Look that up on youtube, killer.

Finally got around to listening to Section.80. It was good but I wasn't feeling a lot of the hooks.

**** Your Ethnicity was definitely the highlight of the album for me, although I liked the second half of the album a lot more than the first (Rigamortus, Kush & Corinthians, Hiiipower, Keisha's Song, etc.).

Also, I don't understand why A.D.H.D. gets so much love; it's pretty weak in my opinion.

Goofle 06-19-2012 12:49 PM

I really didn't connect with HiiPower personally. Not sure why.

My favourites from the album were **** Your Ethnicity, No Make Up and HiiPower.
Probably because they were the catchiest and thus stick in my memory the most.

Goofle 06-20-2012 02:16 AM

The first two tracks are so damn good, but I have gotten to the point where I just skip a few songs.

"Chapter Six"
"The Spiteful Chant" (Peugeot advert samples this song? Or is it just the same sample?)
"Chapter Ten"
"Tammy’s Song (Her Evils)" (not always)

I have heard them enough, they now bore me.

Section.80 is one of m favorite albums of the 2010's. He has a unique delivery and is one of the best living rappers. **** Your Ethnicity, Hol'up, Rigamortus, Hiiipower, A.D.H.D., Blow My High, Keisha's Song, Spiteful Chant, Ronald Reagan Era and Kush & Corinthians are all great.
His 2009 EP, The Kendrick Lamar EP is good to.
this kid has a gift

^ I think it's a bit early to say he's one of the best living rappers.
Dude does have a tonne of potential, but we'll see what he does now.
He can't just release one really good album and sit back and admire it.
Imagine a world where Nas had done that after Illmatic, or Jigga after The Blueprint.
