I think it will be really enjoyed by those who didn't necessarily get the hype surrounding TPAB. There's definitely some carryovers that make it clear they were recorded around the same time, but I would also say it isn't as ambitious (obviously, since it's just a collection of tracks.) All in all, another stellar release by Kendrick, proving to those who didn't hear O.D or Section 80 that he can makes hits just as easily as he can make concept albums.

I honestly think all it will take is a couple more projects from him before the vast majority of hip-hop fans start saying it. I mean, he's yet to drop anything less than fantastic as this point.
