If this is a Money Store track that didn't make the cut, that's fine by be. It's cool and unique by mainstream hip-hop standards, but it's not up to my standard for Death Grips and they obviously didn't think it was either. Here's a statement from the band about No Love Deep Web...

This is apparently a track hidden on the Death Grips website that was found not even a few hours ago. Considering they have been promoting the album with an 'Alternative Reality Game', this doesn't surprise me. There is nothing proving it's from The Money Store or No Love/Deep Web.

Ja the production's pretty weak on this one. I wish they would use more harsh noise like on System Blower, I really dug those breakdowns.

Also, they posted this on Twatter:
"1.come up and get me 2.lil boy 3.no love 4.black dice 5.world of dogs 6.lock your doors" "7.whammy 8.hunger games 9.deep web 10.stockton 11.pop 12.base rattle stars out the sky 13. artificial death in the west" So apparently there's a tracklist now. The song titles sound good enough, and thank Yorke that they didn't put True Vulture Bare on it. There's hope. |
