I'm just not that into Bjork's music. Her acting, however...Jesus Christ, that woman can bring me to tears better than Batlord's mom when it's her turn to be dominant.

Let it out.
Okay personally I love Bjork she is one of my favorite artists but yeah I definitely agree on her acting. Dancer in the Dark was just... oh god. I pretty much cried the entire movie. And in the end, that part with the glasses... jfc. It doesn't help how similar Bjork is to her character. So I'm like this huuuuuge fan of Bjork and I love her so much and have so much respect for her and then I'm watching this stuff happen and I can't differentiate Bjork from her character so it was like watching all of these things happen to Bjork herself. She said that she will never, ever act again, and that the experience was emotionally traumatizing / draining for her and it totally makes sense. She really put every bit of herself into that role. That's one of the reasons she is so amazing at everything she does. Every time she creates something she is giving you EVERYTHING she's got, with no compromising. |
