Been hearing good things about the new record, but after a few duds, hard to get excited about any new material. It worth the time?
Probably their best album.

It's up there, although I still favour The Money Store. Also, I still have a soft spot for No Love Deep Web.

Jenny Death is a step above Niggas on the Moon, so I'm not sure how The Powers that B fits into their overall discography.

It's a fake double album.

Well, I mean, I haven't actually listened to the two back to back, so I guess so.

I truly believe they just said it was a "double album" so people would just leave them alone in the knowledge that another album was being made.

It doesn't make any sense as a double album.

They already recanted their break up when they dropped Jenny Death early. It's most definitely a marketing ploy. DG may be the second greatest trolls in music history (no. 1 goes to Devo for their backmasking).

I'd also say it's their best album, they went back to pushing the envelope after falling into a bit of a rut.

And that is why you will never be a true Death Grips fan.

Nah just kidding. It's pretty different from their other stuff so I can see why some fans might not dig it. What are your thoughts on Niggas on the Moon?

NOTM is their best album imo.

NOTM > TMS > NL;DW > GP > Exmilitary > JD
