My friend saw them a few months back, he said seeing them live is a much more primal experience than listening to their records. Also said it was one of the best experiences of his life. I need to see them

I'll have to check the new album out but my opinion of this group so far is that it's 80% hype and 20% more hype. I don't see the appeal. Kinda bums me out because I'm a big Zach Hill fan. Hella is a great band and math rock + hip hop would be interesting as ****. But instead he just does really minimal beats that sound super thin and repetitive.

Fuck this album. Maybe I just don't like Death Grips as much as I thought but I really have to be in the mood to listen to their noise beats.
