I figured there must be allot of opinionated ****ers on here so I came to "debate"

Lil Wayne is the best to ever do it.

He's commercial as hell. Half the time he barely even raps. He usually just gets by on his "swag" because people just think he has a cool voice. When he wants to he is excellent, but he usually just wants to put out as much as possible to make money and it's usually ****.

lol. Clearly youve heard not much more than his most mainstream music, which is the minority by far....
Have you heard the two singles for Tha Carter IV so far?
Raw rap, not "commercial" or "mainstream".
You may say he's "commercial" because of the hundreds of Feats he does, thats him getting paid and achieving commercial success.

They are on MTV all the time because they are Lil Wayne songs and singles off Tha Carter IV.

Saying Wayne "barely raps half the time" is just completely ridiculous

Lil' Wayne is talentless

I wouldn't say that persay, but I think he does tend to put out a lot of crap. Even on his mixtapes. And pretty much every Young Money joint is awful, except for Nikki's stuff.

That said I think he's a veteran whose good material wins him over from his bad. In a couple of decades all we'll remember is the good stuff, just like Johnny Cash or Elvis Presley.
