Yeah the main purpose of this thread is for people to add their beats and get feedback on it. The competition was just a side piece of it.

As far as your beat was your intention to have it sound crowded and hectic like that? It seems like there is way too much going on but I guess if that is what you were going for then mission accomplished.

I thought it was quite awesome. Love the way the beats go in and out of phase, rhythmically. The atmos are awesome as well.
I wish it was longer.

I sorta want to take it and run it through Stutter Edit and tweak the hell out of it and make it MORE crazy.

like the idea, but the execution could use some work, the way that the beat was off time wise was kind of jarring. maybe that's just me, but i couldn't really get into that aspect of it, especially with the atmosphere built up to be a more ambient style thing.

but like i said, i really like the idea.

Default Heyo!

Hiya guys, I'm new to this site, joined for the purpose of talking with other producers! I can see this contest is over, but you all seem like people who know a thing or 2 about music, so what would you say is the most important element of a song?

Most producers now days are about just making money for their own glory and fame.

There's a lot of good beat software out there. I think the best stuff though is the programs that combine the use of real instruments and electronic download.
