Waka Flocka and soljaboy WTF!!!!
noone listens to lyrics and flow!!!!
i recently had an argument with a friend and he seems to think Waka Flocka and solja boy are relevant in rap/hiphop i think they are WACK,,,,,, lyrics and flow are horrible i dont even think there is an argument here .... just because they sell records dosnt make them good am i just listening to there music wrong?...haha if theres a way to do that or am i just being a hater? |
I enjoy listening to Wacka Flacka from time to time, but when i do i don't listen to it for the skillful lyricism, just for the hardcore beats (i'm referring to flockavelli as its the only album I've heard of his). However, I find absolutely no redeeming qualities in soulja boys music at all. He is horrible.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YRQXWHOo1G4 Sometimes i listen to this on the way to class cause it gets me pretty pumped for the day like "I'M GONNA **** THIS CALC EXAM UP!" |
that track actually isnt too bad
still dosnt make me want to listen to his **** tho soulja boy is still horrible |
Waka Flocka Flame hasn't been the same since he was raped by his limo driver.

see the thing with souljaboy that people don't realize is that he's actually a decent producer. The thing that annoys me with souljaboy is that he has to potential to be better than he his but because of the success of "crank dat" he keeps trying to produce more hits along than vein. I have listened to all three of his albums and on each one. There is a track that shows a little bit of what he could do but chooses not to.
I know most of you guys will still think he sucks but listen to these four songs. this fly song sounds much better on the album it's not as sped up. |

|
awesome video Soulja boy ..
|
i'll say this for Waka Flocka Flames.
the best i could compare his music to is being hit by a brick. it's hard, unyielding, and there's no real rhyme or reason to it, you just got hit by a fucking brick! |

I really liked flockavelli but haven't liked waka flocka too much without lex luger handling the production. Still interested in this and will give it a spin tonight.

wacka flocka and soulja boy are SWEET
|
i dont really get why this guy is loved so much
|
Really? You dont understand why someone who makes music that alot of people can just relax to or dance to is popular?
I get bored of social commentary rappers, I listen to music as an escape from day to day struggles, I dont need lyrics reminding me of everything thats wrong in the world, and how tough life is. Lyrically this: May be better than this: But if I am out somewhere at a club or a party, I know which I'd prefer to hear. If you honestly cant understand how Waka Flocka is popular I feel sorry for you. BRIIIIIIIIICKSQUAAAAAAD |
Seriously, wacka flocka is designed to sound good. You don't have to try hard to like it, just let your brain soak it in.

if you don't get it after watching that then I don't know what to tell you. |
Yeah Soulja Boy sucks.. Lil B is runs of SODMG now haha.
Wake is honestly hilarious. One of my favourite lines by him "Man I'm way too tired, damnit I can't go to church" He's honestly so funny you just have to pay attention to his lyrics. He's bad in a good way, like Gucci Mane and Lil B |
