People always give credit to ll wayne for being a hard worker, but is it really that much harder to just rap a bunch of random **** over any and every beat then it is to actually write some quality songs. Pussy ass niggeh i dont want your gonnoreah doesnt really sound like hard work.

yes it is much harder to do as much work as he is doing. Sure some of his songs are just throwaways because they are you pumping out such a great quantity of songs they aren't all going to be quality tunes. When people say he's a hard worker they aren't just talking about the quality of his lyrics on songs/verses. They are also talking about all the things he is doing behind the scenes.

What is wayne doing behind the scenes exactly? Counting his money till his thumbs green yo.

Lil'B is a hard worker. Dude has a new video every ****ing day.

I'm just saying it doesn't take too much work to rhyme "im a cheesehead yall niggehs cheez whiz" over some other guys beats, even if he's doing coal mining behind the scenes.

you know nothing about the life of a CEO you are just constantly going back to how simplified his lyrics can be at times.

I think Lil Wayne's duties as CEO of cash money amount to him saying "young money" at the beginning of every song, or maybe telling nicki minaj to get ass implants.

Plus ****ing Mack Maine is the president now. They're all overseen by a giant label anyway, who handles all the marketing, distribution etc.

whatever man, you clearly don't like Wayne and that's fine so I'm not going to go back and forth with you on this.

Mack Maine is the president but Wayne is still the CEO. Two different roles. Of course they have a parent company you say that like that belittles their jobs/roles any.

What? if you go back like one page i said i really like 6'7. I thought carter 3 was great.

I just think he gets a bunch of undeserved credit. You make it seem like lil wayne deserves more praise for having a label, that's not really that uncommon, a lot of rappers made music and ran a label, without the benefit of having Birdman start you up.

Lil B only puts out a ton of **** because its easy to manufacture garbage. And yes, Lil Wayne should get a bit more credit for being CEO of his label, as should everyone else who manages their own. The reason you think it's so easy for Lil Wayne is that you only see the product which comes out, not the input. Being a rapper nowadayz is only half being a rapper, the other half is business.

this guy is correct. Matious keeps trying to focus on his music but he's business-savy is what is getting him far. That's why I had to vote one of the best not for his rapping skills but for his overall package.

In terms of CEO status he is up there with Dame Dash

Oh how enlightening, they'res a business aspect to hip hop? /mind blows up

I realize when Lil Wayne is featured on a Jay Sean song or making a football anthem its to sell music.

I'm not going to give Wayne extra credit because he raps and appears to run a label, when they'res plenty of other artists doing the same thing while simultaneously putting out real, interesting, music.

Your opinion of Lil'B is exactly how i feel about Wayne 90% of the time. It's easy to constantly release tracks when your only rhyming like 8 bars and half of them are shit metaphors.

@ DJ his business savvy?
Dude has been with Birdman since a kid, he's never produced, or had to do anything outside of rhyming. His "savvinees" was getting lucky enough to team up with a god awful rap crew until becoming the focus.

He does have a good image. The dreads, tatted up, skinny jean swag worked. And he did change up his sound. But he's not ****ing puff daddy.
