Default New Del track this morning

Free Leak Pack Del posted on facebook this morning... I downloaded it, downloaded movie maker, and uploaded it as quick as I could figure out how. Plus, took some time and wrote the lyrics out.

Whoo!

Dan the Automater needs to get with Del ASAP.

So many Del beats bore me to death, his flow is always great, but his ear for beats never works with me.

I thought it sounded great in the car, and on this fat system turned up loud, but I know what you mean. This has been one of his best tracks of late. It's kind of a good segue between his most recent styles and his scifi 3030 style.

Spoiler for Here's the lyrics:
Del the Funky Homosapien's "Afterburnaz" (2011) from the Ice Cold Leak Pack (2011)

OK There's always some bitch-ass with they ****in' mouth hangin' open...
Then some other fool with em', they don't ****in' know no better...
they finna be like "Hold up, he was there right a minute ago"

OK, Just to let you ****wipes know what's **** life for real, sit tight
I pick mics up with levitation, beggars achin' to reach, they'll never make it...
Dzl, rappers make for an incredible banquet
Eatin' 'em all, deeply involved, teachin' us all, the populace problem,
of less creative minds, too many of y'all dumb...

Bars run laps, my cut runneth over
Your bitch wanted more, I ****ed her on the sofa
I be on a cold one, wintery disposition
It a'int hip to be in the position
to give new juice, some big dude
OK take up boxing cuz you can't flow anyway...
Niggaz be pantyweights up against the heavyweights,
Look these niggaz dead in they face, tell 'em they betta pray.

Afterburnaz, thruster blastin' off!
HaHaHa!! You can eat my dust...
**** you, you, you, and you too.
Goofy ass niggaz, give a **** what you do...

Afterburnaz, blast off, mics away!
See your ass in hyperspace!
Parsecs ahead, you can't target,
Lyrical marksman, nigga kill the argument.

Globally known for skill,
y'all roadkill, hold it still,
Let me aim, fair game,
Y'all cheatin' though,
leavin' your meat exposed
for a deep blow, pieces explode...

Get fragged, get bagged, get captured
bitch at car, but I captured your flag...
Miraculous raps, too swift for you to adapt,
More uproar and racket than a gun clap...
Pin-up the co-ordinates with a thumbtack...
We comin' to tap that ass, stun gun packed....
Arrivin' on the planet surface
with Leonard Nimoy and Captain Kirk with
Sir Dzl, First People, that's the heritage...
my flow you cherish it, foes beware of it...
Not bein' arrogant, my flow been tested
blasted with a hundred rounds, no impression!

OK, when my minds made,
fade all charades, they too late, tardy
In the dean's office, for obscene flossin'
been seen flossin' with no scrilla...
Perpetratin squirrel for chinchilla
Fool! I been hotter, squabbin' like Bin Laden!
Send comments to bomb your conglomerate...
Y'all too monotonous, my brain be measurin'
the exact prescription of dope to leave you noddin'...
Hobgoblin, I be mobbin' with rocket launchers...
Lookin' for niggaz cuz y'all be talkin' hella ****!
I ride through on two elephants!

Speakers, left and right sides envelopin'!
Your surroundings, I'm down to start clownin'!
Anybody houndin', doggin' my sound and delivery,
I'll have you know... you can't get with me.

Specifically with words, but you a'int hearin' me...
I'll have you know! You can't get with me!
Specifically with words, but you a'int hearin' me...

Go get a hearin' aide!

Afterburnaz, thrusters blastin' off!

Aw, what did he mean by that? **** that, **** this ****, aw hell na, he ain't fittin to make me look stupid! Or I can't rap like you? Is that what you finna get your gay crap fool stupid nigga, I don't rap I strap you beeitch.I'm comin', Sir Dzl, with the rump shaker, so hide your punk ass nigga! Hehehe...

yeah i have no idea what's going on with that beat but I don't like it. He definitely needs someone to hook him up with better beats.

I think it's the beginning of the effect of dubstep, esp. in the Bay Area, taking off in America. It's like a 1/4 of the way to a dubstep beat. I might stand alone in enjoying the beat, though, maybe I'm

Update, there's a free show at UC Berkeley tonight at 5... in three hours.
Hieroglyphics free show?

Also, they posted this interview:

Catching Up With Del the Funky Homosapien: Talks 20 Years Since Debut, Musical Inspiration | BALLERSTATUS

Quote:
BallerStatus.com: What new projects do you and Hiero have that are coming up?

Del: I don't know about the rest of Hiero, but me and Tajai just started collaborating on this EP he wanted to do, and he wanted to go more in a dub-step direction 'cause he kinda mentioned it to me, and I was like, "Yeah, I got that locked. I know how to do that." So he hit me up and was like, "Is it cool? Can you hook me up with some dubstep beats for this new EP?" I made him six like dub-steppy type of tracks -- I mean they're different from dub-step. I know what to do with it, so I took it to somewhere else at this point, but you know it's still got that dub-step type of rhythm or whatever. We was working on that like a week ago, and it's gonna drop on his label, Clear Label Records.

Me and A-Plus also got an album we're both working on dually, and that's called Hypnotize, and that's with me and C7, with Compound 7. Me to a lesser degree, the core of C7 is A-Plus and Aagee.

I am also almost finished with Deltron: 2nd Event. That's almost done -- I'm just trying to get these guest spots taken care of. I got a few songs with Tame One, Redman's cousin from the Artifacts, on there, so I just sent him the tracks and my raps. He can do what we need him to do. He texted me a long ass rap, and I was like, "Wow, you ready," 'cause it was on some Deltron sh**, and I knew he could do that. Dan The Automator produced all the tracks. Kid Koala added ear candy, I mean cuts and stuff like that. The music has been done for quite awhile -- they're just waiting on me to write and record the lyrics, so I just got back into that space where I'm ready to record. It's 11 tracks. It's my style, but it's put in a futuristic term -– that's the area.

BallerStatus.com: Do you think Deltron: 2nd Event is gonna drop in 2011?

Del: I hope so. It better. The only thing is I don't know what we gonna do with it. It's just the climate nowadays. You never know, it could be a Kanye, it could be an anomoly, it could be like a Wayne, you know what I'm saying? Like most people ain't selling nothing, but Wayne's selling millions, Kanye's selling millions, so you don't know.

Wow, thanks for doing that. I'm not super excited about the song but I think the beat sounds good.
