Here's how it's going to work by the way because the last time I did this was probably 2-3 years ago, there's going to be five artists per each poll (maybe four depending on how many there is) and I'll throw all the names in a hat and pull out the number per poll and pin them against each other in a poll. I'll post 2-4 polls a week and let them stay open and the winners will go onto the next round. If it's a tie they'll be tiebreakers.

It's meant to be competitive. I almost nominated Why? myself. It'd be nice if this was more then just "A Tribe Called Quest Vs. Tupac Vs. Wu-Tang Vs. Nas Vs. Public Enemy."
