It was all about Public Enemy for me. Got into them when I was a little scrubber and became obsessed. It's weird, I'll have periods when I listen to nothing but rap and seek to listen to every hip hop album I can, but there will be other times when I just ain't got time for it. But that makes it sound even more fresh when I get into it again.

I think it all began when I got into the Wu about 4 years ago.. I used to hate rap, due to the ****tacular mainstream music out there. It wasn't until I discovered Biggie, A Tribe Called Quest, The Roots, Bone Thugz and Outkast that I became addicted to it.

Got into it around 12 or 13. Not too sure what artist I listened to, or what songs I heard.

Back in '01 when I was about 13... I had heard "If You Must" on Tony Hawk 3 so I went out and grabbed a Del album - Deltron 3030 was what ended up catching my eye. And did it open new doors. I'd heard good hip-hop before but had glossed over it without giving it a proper chance. Del hit me with what I could relate to - imagination. I was a sci-fi nerd anyway. It was perfect.

Deltron 3030.

Particularly, Madness.

Now, it's 3030, Cleofis Randolph (w/ MC Paul Barman), Battlesong, Memory Loss

Believe or not I used to hate rap and listen to metal. Ozzy Osbourne was god to me. Then I realized anyone who doesn't listen to all kinds of music is an idiot. Now I'm a rapper hahah
