I personally love him.

Yeah, this dude is tight. He's such a skilled lyricist that I'm surprised he hasn't caught on more.

He's a little overrated but easily the best out of the "up n comers" like jay cole, wiz, etc

Wow. How can you even put him in the same category as jay Cole and Wiz? They're not even close. I really think that that are few rappers who can measure up to jay Electronica. The beats he uses are sick (even if a lot of them are recycled Jay Dilla beats), his content is pretty deep, and he's got great delivery. What more is there?

I said he was easily the best out of them. His name gets mentioned alongside those artists all the time, the way he delivers his content is similar (mix tapes, covers, etc). It's fair to compare him.

Also, they're way too many good rappers out there to say few measure up to him. His delivery, voice, lyrical content, are all really, really sound and technically impressive, but in no way original or groundbreaking, at least not as of yet.

I disagree. I just think he's that good.

ay phantom, it turns out the reason jay's record hasn't come out is because he's busy tagging the daughter of a super rich british family or something...

Haha, been wondering why he has been rather quiet on the music front, but this is gold.
What the **** is a Jay Electronica was an awesome mixtape, and at least he'll have plenty of material for his next one off of this.

Also, good to see snooty upper class white families getting broken up. Almost brings a smile to my face.

I've heard one song from him and I loved it.

I've never heard anything else from him. From the sound of that one song though, he's got flow and the lyrics to back him up.

Also, his Exhibit A, B and C's are tracks well worth the listen.
Hoping he actually releases an album soon. No doubt he's talented. Dude just needs focus.
