Default It's Gangsta Rap week!

Gangsta rap is a subgenre of hip-hop, more specifically hardcore hip-hop that first gained commercial attention in the 1980's. It focuses heavily on violence and other, often controversial, subject matter.

Other members could do a much better job writing this one up than I could so i'll just start everyone off with a few obvious examples.

Im just gonna throw a heap of Bone Thugs at everyone here!

- Notorious Thugs ft Biggie
- Crept and We Came
- No Surrender

For Gangsta rap it doesn't really get much better than Bone Thugs in my opinion.
