I'm just sayin it how I hear it, I don't give people credit for being 'legends' - if what I hear isn't that good then I don't think it's that good

I will get back to y'all on the Jay-Z thing

I'm gonna write this as I listen to each song

Lucifer was good, I like the use of the sample, more creative than m&m songs

30 Something, very good song I will admit, but you've got Dr. Dre producing so how could it not be. But Jay-Z's hook is catchy as well.

99 Problems, ya this is an awesome song, classic rap-rock.

okay here I will just say that one of the reasons I didn't really like Jay-Z is the same reason I don't like Kanye or Weezy; they always sound the same when they rap, they can't switch it up and I don't really like the one sound that they have. Now this is most true of Kanye; I just cannot stand his rapping, but I think I could appreciate Jay-Z so far its really good

I've obviously heard dirt off your shoulder before, that said it is a classic.. good song.

DOA, I get it

Dead Presidents 2, its good

in conclusion- I guess I'm a fan.. still don't like many of his features though, Umbrella for example but maybe that will change if I get used to him on albums

This is ridiculously untrue. Kanye made a pop album where he mostly sings with autotune.

Weezy completely changed his style after Carter 2.

The reason those two artists are some of the biggest commercial acts today is because of they're ability to change their sound and stay relevant.

That's exactly my point with Kanye; either he sounds like the same borring rapper, or he uses autotune. And autotune is only good in rare cases.
That being said, I think Kanye is a good producer and he is very creative musically I just wish he would only produce and not sing... that's why I've never listened to an album of his.. but I'm thinking of checking the new one out

I haven't listened to lil Wayne hardly at all since like father like son, so if what you say is true, I might give him another chance.

Actually it's because no one knows where the real **** is going down. I'd probably listen to that **** too if i didn't know better.

Ignorance is bliss... and Nicki Minaj.

Wtf are you talking about?
Kanye wests latest album was nearly flawless.

Weezy im less inclined to disagree, but you can't deny that he dramatically altered his style and lead to a new form of rapping that nearly every commercial rapper follows now.

TheBig3 12-05-2010 05:39 PM

I think he's a troll.

I think it was my use of caps that make it sound like that, but I am genuinely curious. I want to know where you heard that because it would be really interesting. Regardless, she's at least written her other stuff, I guess.
In other words, I wasn't being pissy.

I was trying to continue a conversation you started.
